Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse.

A.c.v has to be one of my favourite beauty products…

Not only does apple cider vinegar help your skin during breakouts, but it’s beneficial to hair care as well. My mother has been using A.C.V as a hair rinse since the 70’s, & she absolutely swears by it!

Apple cider vinegar helps balance the pH of your hair due to it’s natural acidic properties. Once applied to hair, it lowers the pH balance to slightly acidic so your locks can fight off bacteria & fungus that cause dry scalp & dandruff.

A.C.V helps remove build up in your hair by naturally exfoliating the scalp. Alpha-hydroxyl is an ingredient found in apple cider vinegar that removes dead skin cells, & sweat build up to reduce itchiness, & improve the overall appearance of your mane.

Also, by lowering the pH balance of your hair allows the cuticle to flatten & close. This allows your hair to feel smoother, shinier, moisturized, & less frizzy. It also makes your hair easier to de-tangle, & less prone to breakage.

You should only be using this rinse 1-2 times a month. I don’t recommend it for multiple times a week -especially if you have dry hair- it could potentially dry it out if you use it too often.

Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse

  • 8oz spray bottle

  • 1 tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar

  • 5 drops of rosemary essential oil

  1. Fill the bottle up almost all the way full of water.

  2. Add the raw A.C.V, & the rosemary essential oil.

  3. Hop in the shower to shampoo & condition hair. Pat down your hair, but leave it wet.

  4. Using your spray bottle, spritz the mixture thoroughly, & massaging into scalp.

  5. Leave on for 2-3 minutes, & rinse.

*if you don’t like the smell the rinse leaves in your hair, I would suggest shampoo > rinse > conditioner.
