natural cooling Eye Treatment.
I am not a morning person...
I think I set four alarms & hit snooze on every single one of them. Working as a bartender has put my sleep schedule so out of whack that it's almost impossible for me to wake up early, thus creating lovely dark circles under my eyes. Fortunately, I've found a remedy that wakes me up in the morning & helps rid the purple rings.
Chamomile tea has antioxidants, cleansing & moisturizing properties which makes it crazy beneficial to use on your skin. It has some bleaching properties which will slightly lighten your skin & also has amazing soothing qualities. Lavender speaks for itself; soothing, calming & the scent is comforting. It also hydrates & firms the skin under your eyes.
Ingredients:
Chamomile Tea Bags (2)
Lavender Buds
Lavender Oil
Ice Tray
What To Do:
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, add the chamomile tea bags & let sit until completely cool.
Remove & discard tea bags & add 4-5 drops of lavender oil to mixture.
Pour mixture into ice cube trays evenly. (they don't have to be completely full)
Drop in a couple lavender buds & store in freezer.
Once completely frozen, pop out 1 cube & use a paper towel or wash cloth to place under your eye. (don't hold for too long, you don't want to numb your skin)
Alternate between both eyes until cube is melted.
