Epsom Salt

 Epsom salt baths are known for softening & exfoliating skin, relaxation, drawing impurities out of skin & relieving migraine/cold or flu symptoms. The magnesium & sulphates in Epsom salt are easily absorbed through the skin & may increase the magnesium levels in your body.

 

Red Alaea Sea Salt

Also known as Hawaiian Red Salt, is a natural, unprocessed salt. Its red colour comes from purified volcanic red Hawaiian clay, which is high in iron oxide. The therapeutic benefits of Red Alaea Sea Salt baths include healing wounds, body aches & muscle sprains.

 

Rose

This fragrant flower helps rejuvenate and replenish skin, is a natural antibacterial  & anti-inflammatory, contains high amounts of vitamin C & is incredibly moisturizing. When used aromatically, rose calms & soothes the mind. In fact, rose petals are a staple in Ayurvedic medicine to detoxify & calm. Rose also helps tighten pores & restore suppleness as it's a natural astringent.

 

Ylang Ylang

Ylang ylang is considered an effective antidepressant & antiseptic. It can help skin from aging, fights the development of skin cancer cells & melanoma. Mostly, Ylang Yang has a glorious scent that is energizing & useful for fighting fatigue or body aches (PMSing is a thing & this essential oil does help with it's symptoms).



Lavender

My favourite of all the essential oils, it can help induce sleep, reduces mental stress & anxiety, improves blood circulation, relieves joint & muscle pain & detoxifies the skin. Lavender can also be used to treat various skin disorders such as acne, wrinkles, psoriasis & other inflammatory conditions. It is commonly used to speed up the healing process of wounds, cuts & burns because it improves the formation of scar tissues.

 

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus helps cleanse your body of toxins & harmful microorganisms that can make you feel sick, also contains antimicrobial & antiseptic properties that are effective at treating wounds, burns, cuts, abrasions, sores & scrapes

 

Frankincense

Frankincense is one of my new favourites for MANY reasons. It helps relieve chronic stress & anxiety, reduces pain, inflammation, boosts immunity & even potentially helps to fight cancer. Frankincense is anti-aging & a natural wrinkle fighter, helps relieve PMS symptoms, balances hormone levels & when inhaled, it’s been shown to reduce heart rate & high blood pressure. The list goes on & on with this super oil.



Rose Scented Bath Salts

INGREDIENTS:

  • Rose Petals

  • Epsom Salt

  • Red Alaea Sea Salt

  • Rose Essential Oil

  • Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS (20ml):

  1. Measure about 10ml of Epsom Salt & 5-7ml of Red Alaea Sea Salt into a small bowl.

  2. Add 5 drops of Rose Essential Oil & 3 drops of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil.

  3. Add desired amount of Rose Petals into the mixture.

  4. Mix & funnel into container.



Lavender & Eucalyptus Scented Bath Salts

 INGREDIENTS:

  • Lavender Buds

  • Epsom Salt

  • Lavender Essential Oil

  • Eucalyptus Essential Oil

  • Frankincense Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS (20ml):

  1. Measure about 15-17ml of Epsom Salt into a small bowl.

  2. Add 7 drops of Lavender, 4 drops of Eucalyptus & 2 drops of Frankincense.

  3. Add desired amount of Lavender Buds into the mixture.

  4. Mix & funnel into container.
