DIY Wrapping Paper

Did you know that traditional wrapping paper is non-recyclable due to its high clay content?

We all use a ton of it over the holiday season; think about how wasteful that is! This year, I decided to wrap my presents in brown, recyclable paper & decorate them myself.

I used a potato as a stamp by cutting my potato in half, then drawing out my design & using a paring knife to cut the excess potato out of the way (use the picture for inspiration). I bought a roll of brown paper at Micheal's Craft for less than $10, I had some extra paint laying around & played around with different paint brushes & sharpies.

Get creative! Your loved ones will appreciate the time & effort you put in to personalize their gifts.
